My parents were both raised in Utah and thus my home was imbued with Utah values; they filled us with the love of God, reverence for freedom, respect for others, and the importance of service, civility, and frugality. Ann and I have enjoyed our residency in Utah for over ten years, first during college, while leading the Olympics, and after my career, having made Utah our permanent home.
